Overview
One of the most challenging projects for me was my self identity branding. I had to question myself who I really am and what I want to be presented as. I have realized that since I am not originally from the US, my cultural background and upbringing plays a huge role in creating my personality and true self. I decided to represent my culture, which is Uyghur, in my self branding design by incorporating our unique traditional patterns and color combinations.
However, as a designer I am more interested in modern, geometric and simplistic styles as well as UI/UX aspect of the design. So, my final logo and pattern design reflects both oft these worlds and perfectly represents me as a designer and a person.
